This guide details the Flooded Vault, an optional tomb in the Shipwreck Beach area. You can find it while traveling through the south-eastern part of the beach on your way back to the Endurance.

Locating and Entering the Bunker

Shortly after sliding down the zip-line from the lighthouse, you will encounter and must eliminate two guards. After dealing with them, locate the bunker entrance. Use your climbing axe to pry open the door.

Navigating to the Main Chamber

Proceed through the initial corridors, watching for collectibles. Use a ladder to descend. Then, use your climbing axe to leap across a wide chasm by holding the action button.

You can take either the upper or lower path here; they rejoin shortly. Continue until you reach dark areas requiring your torch. This leads to the main puzzle chamber, where a base camp is located.

Activating the Control Panels

Go up the stairs in the chamber. Interact with the first control panel. This causes an electrical discharge in the adjacent flooded room.

Return to the area near the base camp. Use the second control panel here to unlock access to a new side room.

Preparing the Raft

Enter the newly opened room on the left. Use fire arrows to burn the rope suspending a wooden raft, causing it to drop into the water. Now, go to the left side of the main chamber.

Use your climbing axe to break through a damaged door here. Position yourself so you can shoot rope arrows at the raft. You will need to shoot it at least twice to pull the raft to your desired location.

Manipulating the Electrical Discharge

Step onto the raft. Turn it to face right and move to the safe platform there. Stop near the electrical discharge. Look up and shoot a rope arrow at a high, indicated point to create a temporary grounding line.

As soon as you shoot, quickly run to a platform farther away, as the discharge will only be disabled briefly. Face the raft again and pull it toward you with another rope arrow. Continue pulling until the raft moves directly beneath an underwater lamp.

Permanently Disabling the Electricity

Shoot another rope arrow at a high interactive spot to temporarily lift the lamp out of the water. Immediately pull the raft toward you once more. The objective is to have the lamp contact the raft, thereby permanently dissipating the electrical charge.
