This ending requires the player to have Kurt hold on to his anger throughout the campaign. In Part 3's chapter called The Plan when Kurt learns of his son's fate have Kurt walk away. When he confronts the translator in The Pursuit have Kurt shake the person and not threaten him.
When you finally meet Barrett have Kurt constant threaten the major and have Harry try to save Kurt. When you finally meet Kurt and Barrett only point the gun at Kurt, eventually the option to shoot will appear. Kill Kurt, betray your friend, and earn an achievement.
