Jet Set Radio was a cult franchise published by SEGA that has been dormant for years. Fans have been hoping for a new game for a long time but today something appeared, a new title resembling the artstyle and gameplay of the cult hit. This is Bomb Rush Cyberfunk.
Developed by Team Reptile who has several games under their belt from the Lethal League series is making Bomb Rush Cyberfunk. As you can see from the images provided it almost like a successor to Jet Set Video from the visuals to the gameplay. With composer of Jet Set Radio Hideki Naganuma making the music.
Bomb Rush Cyberfunk, 1 second per second of advanced funkstyle. Start your own cypher and dance, tag, trick, face off with the cops and stake your claim to the extrusions and cavities of a sprawling metropolis.
The game will feature several neighborhoods with a specific time of day and you can skate everywhere. With grinding, jumps, tricks, and airdashes confirmed. There's no multiplayer and won't come out this year.
Currently the title has no release date, just the "Future".
