Ubisoft developing new Avatar game
News by Grayshadow on Jun 13, 2021
Remember when Avatar launched back in 2009? Most people have moved on from the IP but Ubisoft has not, with a new game confirmed for 2022 called Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora.
This isn't the first time Ubisoft created a game based on Avatar, a video game was created when the first film launched. A film that was supposed to be followed up by 3 other films yet since 2009 the second has yet released.
Frontiers of Pandora will be an open-world RPG that will allow players to explore a part of Pandora not shown in the film. It'll be separate from the 2009 movie and take place on the Western Frontier on the planet. The game is being developed by The Division team Massive Entertainment since 2017 so expect lots of looting and shooting.
Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora will release on an unannounced date in 2022 on Amazon Luna, Google Stadia, PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
