Dying Light 2 Delayed to 2022

Despite the incredible reveal that Dying Light 2 would launch this December Techland revealed some devastating news, it won't The game has been delayed to February 4th, 2022.

Techland made an official announcement that they are sorry but more information is coming next month. With press and content creators getting the chance to play the game. As for the reason, it's for optimization purposes.

As for the date, this is gutsy. Horizon Forbidden West launches around that same time and before Dying Light 2 was not competing with anything major. Now it's going against one of Sony's biggest IPs and system sellers. No doubt Dying Light fans will pick up the game regardless but major competition like that will likely affect sales.

Dying Light 2 will launch on February 4th, 2022.
