Capcom Preparing for More Resident Evil this Year
Umbrella Corps is just a "warm up"

Capcom is planning something big this year for Resident Evil.
According to their full fiscal report Capcom plans to focus on the Resident Evil franchise this year. Stating that the upcoming Resident Evil: Umbrella Corps, which releases in June, is a “warm up” for a “full-scale offensive” planned for the second half of the fiscal year.
Outside from the already announced remasters for Resident Evil 4 and Resident Evil 5, no new Resident Evil game has been revealed for this year. Could Capcom be preparing for E3 to reveal Resident Evil 7, after all the franchises 20th anniversary is happening this year.
I would argue that since Capcom is releasing Resident Evil 4 and 5 we could see an entire reboot for the franchise, similar to Insomniac’s Ratchet and Clank.
Umbrella Corps is set to release for PC and PS4 on June 21st.
