Endless Space 2 Coming To Early Access

It's been a good year for 4x strategy titles and, by the looks of it, we still have quite a bit to go. Civilization VI is, of course, coming later this month, however, before that it's worth throwing a glance towards Steam Early Access, as Amplitude Studios's Endless Space 2 will be available there. The playable version has been described by the developers as an alpha that will come with the core gameplay experience but lack certain features, such as multiplayer. These features will, of course, be added as time passes.

Creating unique factions is just one of the things that the people over at Amplitude Studios are good at and Endless Space 2 will come with 8 of them. As of now, just half of them have been announced, two being familiar faces from the first game: the Cravers and the Sophons. The other two factions are The Lumeris, who are more economically-inclined, and the Vodyani, who were saved from total collapse by the technology of the Endless. Endless Space 2 will be avaliable on Steam Early Access on October 6th.
