With the recent introduction of its Warzone mode, Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr has taken its first step towards building up its endgame. A narrative-based mode where participation is gated by a Power Rating of 1100, Warzone features five stages made up of ten battles each. Each beaten stage unlocks a Hazard – acting as modifiers – and besting all 50 battles unlocks an endless mode. Warzone comes with a set of 20 passive and 4 active skills to unlock, and collectable Favours, used in summoning the Nemesis, one of the game's strongest enemies, and buying gear from a Warzone vendor that will become available soon. Alongside the new mode, a patch with a handful of fixes was also released.

While the PC version of Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr is continuously adding content, console owners had some bad news thrown their way. The title has been delayed on consoles yet again and will now release on August 23rd, 2018. According to a post on the developer's website, the reasons for the delay have to do with finding solutions for access restrictions in countries with stricter surveillance and the need for more work on online functionalities and general polish.
