Sonic Mania Plus Trailer Replicates a 90s Commerical

When Sonic Mania launched it delivered a solid classic Sonic experience found in the original SEGA Genesis titles. Now Sonic Mania Plus adds brand new content to the stellar side-scroller and in celebration for its launch tomorrow SEGA has released a new 90s inspired trailer.

The video highlights the 90s in every way possible with its use of VHS-styled looks and giant CRT-TVs showing off Sonic Mania Plus in action.

For those unaware Sonic Mania Plus includes the original game along with 2 new playable characters, Ray the Flying Squirrel and Mighty the Armadillo, Encore mode which swaps the playable character with each death, 4-player support for Competition and Time Attack, and changes to the map.

Sonic Mania Plus will release for PS4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch on July 17th. Those with an original copy of the game can buy the DLC which includes all Plus' content.
