Apex Legends Released, Respawn Confirms Titanfall 3 Isn't In Development
Titanfall 3 is not in development, Respawn focused on Apex Legends

Apex Legends was leaked than revealed this month, with the first footage of the game released today following by the full game. While many were hoping Apex Legends won't be the foothold for Titanfall 3 to drop it isn't. According to Respawn Entertainment Apex Legends is the studio's focus.
Lead Producer Drew McCoy’s told Eurogamer this fact and also reveal why they didn’t officially reveal the game until today:
“There are some people who think there are too many battle royale games or it’s a fad, the world thinks we’re making Titanfall 3 and we’re not – this is what we’re making…We’re doing a free to play game, with essentially loot boxes, after we were bought by EA, and it’s not Titanfall 3. It’s the perfect recipe for a marketing plan to go awry, so why have that – let’s just ship the game and let players play.”
However, this doesn't mean this is the end of Titanfall, speaking with VG247 Design Director Mackey McCandlish explained that “The Titanfall universe is continuing. It takes place in the Titanfall universe,” he said. “That doesn’t mean there never could be another team that makes Titanfall.”
This will surely disappoint fans, especially myself, seeing that Titanfall 2 was well-received by critics and fans for improving on many of the first game's mechanics, including having an incredible single-player adventure.
