Information About Canceled Sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight Leaked
Apparently a sequel to Batman: Arkham Knight was planned

For those who played Batman: Arkham Knight, the true ending of the game had many wondering if Rocksteady or WB Games would continue the sequel. Well, new information was leaked that showcases a supposedly canceled game.
The leak comes from 4chan, which means take this leak with a grain of salt. Apparently, WB Montreal was working on a game where players take control of Batman's Son Damian Wayne who has taken on the role of Batman. Players would travel the open world and this game would implement the Nemesis system found in WB and Monolith's Middle-earth: Shadow of Mordor and Middle-earth: Shadow of War. Other art shows that Two-Face, Gorilla Grodd, and a female Black Mask were planned as villains.
While both WB and the developers haven't commented on this leak the plot does align with the finale of Batman Arkham Knight.
At the end of Batman: Arkham Knight, and this is a spoiler for a 4-year old game with videos all over the internet, during the perfect ending Bruce Wayne seemingly kills himself after activating "Knightfall". After exposing his identity to the world Batman and Alfred walk into the Wayne manor which then explodes. But in the epilogue, someone else who is wearing the Batman costume attacks some criminals. If this canceled game was being developed, that cryptic ending would make a lot more sense. With Batman's son taking on the role after his father's suicide or faked death.
