Lord of the Rings: Gollum is Coming to Xbox Series X and PS5
Gollum getting his own game

The Middle-earth series is one of my favorite Lord of the Rings games and a new game is being developed by Daedalic Entertainment. Called Lord of the Rings Gollum for the Xbox Series X and PS5.
From the February 2020 issue of Edge magazine (IGN), which Lord of the Rings: Gollum is featured on the cover, reveals new details for the upcoming game. It'll be an action-adventure title focuses on stealth more than action. Players will be exposed to Gollum's split personality during the adventure.
“You will have maybe two, three or four conflicts per chapter that lead to a final decision point,” says game designer Martin Wilkes. “And at this final decision point, it will be harder to pick Smégol, for example, if you’ve always fought for the Gollum side before.”
It seems that Daedalic made me steering away from Peter Jackson's interpretation of the character and having their own take. It's not a wild idea as the Middle-earth series wasn't entirely faithful to the core lore. At least that's what everyone told me on Reddit when I said I really liked it.
It will be interesting to see how this character is executed as he's always seen as frail. Using manipulation and stealth tactics.
