Alphadia Genesis Steam Release Date Announced

Publishers, Marvelous Europe, will be bringing us the first KEMCO-developed JRPG on Steam in less than a week’s time. Alphadia Genesis was originally released on iOS and Android, but now it is coming to PC.

Alphadia Genesis showcases the typical characteristics of a JRPG. It features a classic turn-based battle system, many exploration aspects, and a heavy emphasis on characterisation and story elements. Alphadia Genesis follows the adventures of Fray and his investigative team as they set out to solve a mysterious murder case in a nearby city. The story has twists and turns that keep you on edge all throughout your playing experience.

One of the biggest features of this game is that it is presented in a 16-bit style, which echoes the classic SNES RPGs of the ‘90s, so JRPG enthusiasts may feel a little nostalgic after playing this. On the battlefield however, everything is presented in clear 3D, bringing the turn-based combat system to life.

It is believed that players will be rewarded the longer they play. Jonathan Nevill, Project Manager, says, “It’s a great game for JRPG enthusiasts to get stuck into. Good luck to those that aim to 100% the game content, and reach the TRUE ending. Pro-tip: Be prepared!”

Alphadia Genesis received mixed reviews on iOS and Android, but with the game altered to suit PC, opinions of the game may change.
