Amanita Design Unveil Trailer For Chuchel

Amanita Design, the studio behind such titles as Samorost, Machinarium or Botanicula, are ready to add another quirky point and click adventure title to their portfolio. Chuchel is the project they're currently working on and, as proven by its official trailer, it's very much an Amanita Design game. In the studio's words:

"The game is all about the main character Chuchel and his never-ending passion for cherries. He is a cute hairy creature (an angry hair-ball basically) who is as pleasant as screaming kids and as intelligent as a potato. His silly orange hat is just <cheap pun alert!> the cherry on top. Don't get fooled by his silly looks though - Chuchel is a true hero who never gives up."

As shown in the trailer, we seem to be dealing with a title that's, at least graphically, closer to Botanicula than the other titles the studio has put out. We'll be able to help Chuchel chase the villain, Chrchel, and retrieve his prized cherry sometime in early 2018. Chuchel is set to release on PC, Mac, Android and iOS.
