Battlefield 2042 Removes Popular Rush Playlist
DICE removes popular Rush mode from Battlefield 2042

Battlefield 2042 despite its commercial success has been rated as the worst game in the series and one of the lowest-rated games on Metacritic. This is due to the game's massive amount of technical problems, removal of core Battlefield concepts, and focus on goofy quips and skins rather than the serious tone the series is known for. Now DICE has removed the Rush, an extremely popular mode from the franchise.

Battlefield 2042 is currently lacking in weapons, maps, and content in general so removing the mode is questionable. You can still play Rush in custom matches but experience has been capped.
The post-launch issues have been so bad that many gamers have been going back to previous games. With Battlefield V seeing a surge in players that have surpassed Battlefield 2042.
Battlefield 2042 is now available for PS4, PS5, Xbox Series, Xbox One, and PC.
