Sony is taking a different approach for PlayStation Plus announcements. Each month Microsoft would reveal their selection and Sony would follow, usually on the last day of the month. Instead, Sony revealed the first game in their PlayStation Plus June 2020 lineup and its Call of Duty: WW2.

Call of Duty: WW2 will be available for free to PS Plus members starting this May 26th. It's a bit early but not unappreciated. The second game will be revealed later this week, my guess it'll be The Last of Us Remastered considering the second game launches next month.

Call of Duty: WWII returned the franchise to its WW2 roots. Providing an adequate campaign and the same multiplayer players expected from the franchise. The game was heavily criticized for its monetizing system that allows users to watch other players' open loot boxes in the game's multiplayer HUB world.
