Jordanian composer Ghiya Rushidat is preparing to launch her upcoming video game music album early next year. The album contains tracks based on "all the top-rated games Ghiya is aspiring to work solely on as a composer, such as Call of Duty, Final Fantasy and Assassins’ Creed etc.", a press release reads. The album will be released under record label BSX and will be available soon both physically and digitally.
Ghiya Rushidat quotes Ramin Djawadi, Thomas Newman, Brian Tyler and Hans Zimmer as sources of inspiration. She sees music as a "deep healing therapy" and the idea behind her music, whether it be the upcoming album or other projects is "to motivate people to fight with their pains and emotions".
A multi-award-winning composer, Ghiya Rushidat has also written music for TV and film.
