Destiny 2: Shadowkeep and New Light Delayed to Early October
Destiny 2: Shadowkeep won't make its original release date

Destiny 2: Shadowkeep is the next phase in the franchise but won't make its original release date. Instead, delayed about 2 weeks.
The reason for the delay, Bungie simply said that it needed to work on things just a bit longer. “Being independent means that the future of Destiny 2 is entirely on our team. It also means that we’re agile enough to choose to do what’s best for the game and our players, even if it’s the hard choice,” Bungie said in a new post on the studio’s website.
In addition, the free-to-play version of Destiny 2 will release on the same date of October 1st instead of September 17th.
