DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 Lite Support Ending Next Week For a New Version

DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 Lite was the free version of the very popular DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 for the PS4, Xbox One, and Switch. But today Bandai Namco confirmed they're shutting down the game.

We would like to announce that "DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 Lite" will be terminated on March 24, 2022 (JST). There will be a new "DRAGON BALL XENOVERSE 2 Lite" version released around the beginning of April 2022.

On March 23rd the game will end support for the old version and add a new version. Bandai Namco did warn players that they must transfer all saved files to the new version when the new version goes live in April 2022.

This version is the same according to the post but it seems strange to do something like this. The only reason could be to reset the version numbers.
