Epic Banning Players for Teaming Up in Fortnite Battle Royale Solo Mode
Go solo or go home
News by Grayshadow on Mar 06, 2018
Fortnite Battle Royale is one of the most popular free-to-play games available now with the survival sandbox game constantly gaining new player each day. The unfortunate truth is that you're going to deal with some vexing players who exploit the game's mechanics such as teaming up in the game's Royale Solo mode. However, Epic isn't having it.
After Ubisoft and Blizzard came out about leading more charges against cheaters and toxic gamers Epic is joining. When talking to PCGasmesN Epic Games' spokesperson explained that the studio "teaming in solo is against the rules and will result in Epic Games taking action on accounts that participate in that behavior". and they will "continue to monitor games for players who break rules and play unfairly in all game modes."
With the company ending support for Paragon in favor of serving the Fornite community, you can expect more effort put into ensuring a fair experience.
Fortnite is available now in early access for PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One.
