Epic Games has announced a new Unreal Tournament for Linux, Mac and PC called Unreal Tournament. It'll be developed on Unreal Engine 4 and will be free, moddable and collaboratively developed with fans.
The game will not include microtransactions but will eventually have a marketplace where modders can post, sell and give away custom content. Currently the game doesn't have a release date, but when it does the game will be a product of Epic and the community. The Unreal Tournament series made its debut in 1999 with Unreal Tournament 2003, Unreal Tournament 2004 and Unreal Tournament 3 in 2007.
