Episode Yuffie Includes New Summons, No New DLC Coming to FF7 Part 1

Today Square Enix's Tetsuya Nomura revealed new information about Final Fantasy VII Remake's upcoming DLC Episode Yuffie. Revealing the DLC will include only Yuffie as a playable character and no further DLC is coming.

Sonon, a newcomer to the franchise, will fight with Yuffie but players cannot control him. Yuffie will also have access to new summon material.

Those hoping for more DLC will be disappointed as after this production for Part 2 will be the focus for Square Enix.

Final Fantasy VII Remake is now available on PS4. The Intergrade Edition will launch this June 2021 with Episode Yuffie, with PS4 owners able to upgrade for free if they did not get the free version offered through PS Plus.
