Grand Theft Auto 6 In Development?
Is Rockstar making an internationally themed GTA?

A new rumor as surfaced regarding the next installment in the Grand Theft Auto franchise, stating that the game is not only in development right now but will take place in Tokyo.
Back in December 2003 Take-Two, the publishers behind GTA, filed trademarks for GTA: Tokyo, GTA: Bogota and Grand Theft Auto: Sin City.
According to Techradar a source stated that Rockstar has “serious” about making a Tokyo version of GTA when GTA 3 and Vice City were released but the idea was cancelled. Techradar explained that Rockstar has difficultly moving a studio outside USA.
The source went on to explain that GTA VI is in development but a location hasn’t been settled on. However this isn’t the only game rumored to be in development at Rockstar, with numerous speculations that the next installment in the Red Dead Redemption series is currently being made. The trademark for Agent, another Rockstar game, was renewed back in 2013.
This wouldn’t be surprisingly given that GTA V is over two years old and that Rockstar put out a job advert for a position to work on the development of a new engine specifically for next generation systems.
