The first footage shown features a variety of courses and gameplay. With iconic characters from the Mario universe driving in colorful environments. The karts have been redesigned, featuring a smaller back than in previous games but overall, the game looks great.

The second trailer is more interactive, showing a player playing the game. With the player able to use 1-hand to steer and another to clear off ink if hit with that item.

Nintendo mobile games have been increasingly popular since Super Mario Run. While the following games have not received the same popular appeal they have been well-received by many and have a strong player base. Mario Kart is one of Nintendo's most popular IPs and will likely skyrocket when it launches.

Mario Kart Tour will launch for iOS and Android this September 25th.
