Marvel's Midnight Suns Sets For October 2022 Release

The release date for Marvel's Midnight Suns has been set for October 7, 2022, by 2K and Marvel Entertainment. Marvel's Midnight Suns is an all-new tactical role-playing game set in the darker side of the Marvel Universe, developed by Firaxis Games, the iconic company behind the highly acclaimed and world-renowned Civilization and XCOM games.

To unleash the Marvel dark side, the demonic Lilith and her terrifying army join forces with the terrible armies of Hydra. Hunter, you lead an odd band of superheroes and terrifying supernatural warriors to success in the hunt. Can superheroes like Doctor Strange, Iron Man, and Blade unite against an impending doomsday? There is only one way you can rescue the world: form partnerships with other heroes and command the Midnight Suns, Earth's final line of defense against the supernatural.

 

Once Lilith's army has been defeated, you may design your own unique version of The Hunter by adding people and talents to your team that can be upgraded anytime.

Summer Games Fest 2022 introduced a new cinematic trailer featuring the Midnight Suns in battle with Lilith's army, accompanied by two newly revealed and unlocked playable characters, including Spider-Man, as part of 2K's announcement. At that same time, Lilith has her team of corrupted Fallen versions of Venom, Sabretooth, the Scarlet Witch, and the Hulk ready to go toe-to-toe with the heroes!

There will be four different versions of Marvel's Midnight Suns available: the Standard Edition, the Enhanced Edition, the Digital+ Edition, and the Legendary Edition.

- On PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and Windows PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, the Standard Edition will cost £59.99/€69.99. The basic game is included in this edition.

- The Enhanced Edition on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will cost £64.99/€74.99. Five premium skins and a next-generation optimized version of the game are included in this bundle.

- On PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and Windows PC through Steam and Epic Games Store, the Digital+ Edition costs £69.99/€74.99. A total of 11 high-end aesthetic skins are included. Series X|S SKUs for the PlayStation 5 and Xbox One feature the game's next-generation optimization for next-generation systems.

- To get the Legendary Edition on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, you'll have to shell out £89.99/€99.99 through Steam and Epic Games Store. The Season Pass for Marvel's Midnight Suns, which will be available once the game launches, features 23 premium cosmetic skins.
