Class-based cooperative multiplayer, sounds like Gears of War 4 horde mode

In celebration of N7 day, BioWare released a bunch of new information regarding Mass Effect: Andromeda including a release window of Spring 2017, a special edition version, and now multiplayer information.
Mass Effect 3's multiplayer received mixed reviews, with many citing the extension as a great way to play as the other races but harped on the mediocre horde mode gameplay. Now it seems it's coming back for Andromeda.
On the Origin's official page for Mass Effect: Andromeda four new screenshots were released along with a snippet of information.
“Multiplayer in Mass Effect Andromeda places you into a class-based, 4-player co-op fire-team experience. Team up with three of your friends to take on the enemy threat and protect the interests of the Andromeda Initiative,” the listing said.
A beta is confirmed for Xbox One and PS4, not PC. You will first need an EA account. From there you will need to link your EA account to either your Origin, PlayStation Network, or Xbox live account. Next, you’ll need to go through the survey and answer questions about your favorite games, gaming tendencies, and other stuff. After all that, you will then need to check the white box next to the words, “Mass Effect Andromeda Multiplayer Tech Test", which will bring you to more questions, and finally let you submit your application.
No date for the beta has been confirmed.
Mass Effect: Andromeda is set to release on Xbox One, PS4, and PC Spring 2017.
