The future of Xbox's backward compatibility. What's new and what's next?

Over the last few months, there has been increasing chatter about the next Xbox console. As more information appears, it is becoming abundantly evident that the platform will combine a PC with a standard console. Although this hybrid would seem like a console, booting into Xbox's familiar user interface, it may really be a PC hiding in plain sight.
Xbox fans are excited about the concept of combining Xbox and Steam, but it also raises questions, especially regarding Xbox's current game library. Issues about the future of earlier Xbox games, especially those not yet running on PC, such as Xbox 360 titles, have surfaced because Xbox is moving to a Windows-based platform.
Windows Central has addressed this problem and claims Microsoft is working to improve the integration of Xbox and Windows game creation. Conventional Win32 settings are expected to be the standard for the production of the upcoming Xbox generation. This could mean that support for the present Xbox One and Series X|S platforms will be stopped; still, the most crucial issue that has to be addressed is how this would affect Xbox's backward compatibility.
Positively, Microsoft is looking at emulating as a way to guarantee backward compatibility. Though we cannot ensure that every single Xbox game will migrate over to this new platform without any issues, the Xbox has been a leader in the preservation of video games for a very long period. For instance, Xbox has worked very hard over the past ten years to make sure that games ranging from the original Xbox to the Xbox 360 are compatible with contemporary platforms.
Working for Xbox, Sarah Bond emailed announcing the creation of a new team to keep working on game preservation. This communication shows how still very committed Microsoft is to this project. Bond claims that Xbox is committed to making sure that consumers of the next generation from the start may access its large library of Xbox games right from the start.
Microsoft is clearly taking this extremely seriously, even if we do not yet know how backward compatibility will function with the upcoming hybrid platform. Many Xbox fans are excited about the availability of older Xbox 360 titles, such as Perfect Dark and Lost Odyssey via Xbox Live Arcade, on PC. Specifically, Xbox devotees would be quite motivated to register for the new system if they wish to play their beloved games on contemporary devices.
