Monster Hunter Rise finally coming to PC this January

After Switch gamers got to dive into Monster Hunter Rise PC gamers will finally get a chance. With the acclaimed title coming to PC this January 12th, 2022.

With this launch, the upcoming expansion, Sunbreak, will release for both Switch and PC at the same time. As for current content, all major-post-launch content available from launch until November 2021 will come to PC on day-1. Everything after will be provided at a late date.

The PC version will include 4K resolution, ultrawide support, uncapped frame rate, and high-resolution textures. Players can try the game this October 13th with the demo including offline solo, online multiplayer with up to 4 players, all 14 weapon types.

Ghosts 'n Goblins will join the game with Arthur becoming a cosmetic option. Players must complete a challenging Event Quest to dawn the legendary knight's armor.

For current Monster Hunter Rise players, a haunting new Capcom Collab was also announced today and will feature the brave knight Arthur from Ghosts ‘n Goblins: Resurrection™. After completing a challenging Event Quest, players can don Arthur’s iconic armor and the hunter’s throwing knives transform into lances, the classic weapon from the legendary series. Music from the recently-released Ghosts n’ Goblins: Resurrection will provide a backdrop to the heroic hunting action, and when a quest is completed as Arthur, a special cutscene will be bestowed upon its victors. This special collaboration quest will be available for Switch players beginning on October 28.

Finally, SEGA and Capcom are joining forces with a special Sonic event for the blue hedgehog's 30th anniversary. No details were provided.

Monster Hunter Rise is now available for Switch. It'll launch for PC this January 12th, 2022.
