Since its conception NetherRealms has been on a specific pattern, Mortal Kombat then Injustice. So to no one's surprise, the studio's next game has been confirmed to be Mortal Kombat 11.
Announced during The Game Awards 2018 Mortal Kombat 11 looks incredible, with the same blood and violence that the series is notorious for. While the trailer doesn't show any gameplay the cinematics have a lot of people excited about this new installment. What is shocking is that this installment will be coming to the Nintendo Switch.
NetherRealms plans to have a community reveal event on January 17th, 2019 and released new screenshots, you can see them below.
We also got confirmation that a custom character variation system will be available. Players can build their own customized version of each fighter with unique attacks and special moves.
Mortal Kombat 11 is set to hit store shelves on April 23, 2018, and will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Nintendo Switch. Those who pre-order will gain access to the beta and Shao-Kahn.
