Ratchet and Clank for the PS4 Delayed to 2016

Ratchet and Clank fans will have to wait even longer to see the platforming duo’s next adventure and on the big screen. The PS4 Ratchet and Clank video game and film has been pushed back to 2016.

In a PlayStation blog Insomniac Games announced that they’re hard at work on a new game but it won’t release until 2016.

“While you might have to wait a bit longer than expected, rest assured we’re using the time wisely to further polish the game to a split-shine level” chief brand officer Ryan Shneider wrote.

“With dazzling shader response, awe-inspiring effects, velvety smooth animations, and spectacular new gameplay segments. Really, we can’t wait to show it to you”

Ratchet and Clank on the PS4 is a remastered version of the original game, retelling the duo’s origin story and trying to tie it with the upcoming film. It will feature new environments as well remastered versions of the original locations and weapons.
