Resident Evil 2 and Monster Hunter World Iceborne Crossover Event Coming Next Month

Monster Hunter World is no stranger to crossovers. We've seen Street Fighter, Mega Man, Horizon Zero Dawn, and The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt have their own special events. Now, Resident Evil 2 is joining the list.

Like the previous events, new costumes based on the franchise will be available. Players can dress up as either Claire or Leon from Resident Evil 2. The Handler will also get a new costume, the infamous Mr. X. And that means you can replay the game with Leon or Claire allying with Mr. X.

The last part of the trailer shows that Tofu HUNK will also be in the crossover, as a weapon.

Resident Evil 2 and Monster Hunter World is now available for PC, Xbox One, and PS4. The PC version of Iceborne will launch this January 2020.
