SEGA Announces Sonic Colors: Ultimate, New Projects at Sonic Central

Today SEGA revealed new games planned for the legendary Sonic the Hedgehog, with a remaster of Sonic Colors and a new game set for 2022 release.
Sonic Colors Ultimate is a remastered version of the Wii 2010 title. It'll release on PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and PC on the Epic Games Store. The title will receive performance updates, new animation, and full dialogue and voice cast.
This is not all, SEGA is re-releasing Sonic the Hedgehog 1, 2, Sonic 3 & Knuckles as Sonic Origins for gamers to enjoy on modern platforms.
As for the new title, SEGA teased a new project with the minds behind Sonic Generations and Sonic Forces developing the project. Little information was provided but a strange symbol was shown.
The last bit of news includes Sonic Forces: Speed Battle getting Super Sonic, Sonic Dash getting Pirate Sonic and Captain Shadow, Sonic Prime Netflix's series, Sonic joining Two Point Hospital this July 22nd, and a new line of Sonic toys and comics coming from JAKKS Pacific and Dark Horse. Sonic Colors Ultimate launches on September 7th for Xbox One, PS4, Switch, and PC through the EGS. Early access will be provided on September 3rd for those with the digital deluxe edition. Check out the official images below.
