Rise of the Tomb Raider is one of my favorite games this generation and the latest installment, Shadow of the Tomb Raider, looks like it'll surpass the previous game in almost every way. Recently, Square Enix released the latest trailer for the game including a confirmation for a season pass and various editions now available for pre-order.
The trailer doesn't show any gameplay footage but provides more information on Lara Croft's journey. With the acclaimed adventurer questioning his motives after disturbing what she believed to be a murder in progress.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider will come with a standard version for $59.99, while the Digital Deluxe Edition will retail for $69.99. The Croft Edition will be priced at $89.99, and finally, the Ultimate Edition will come in at $199.99. The Digital Deluxe Edition will feature early access to the game 48 hours prior to its release, an Additional Skills Booster Pack, the game soundtrack, and an additional Weapon and Outfit pack. The Croft Edition will feature all of those bonuses plus additional Weapon and Outfit Packs, and the game’s Season Pass, and a digital version of this variant will be available. The Ultimate Edition will feature all of those bonuses alongside a collectible Lara Croft statue, an ice ax bottle opener, and a Tomb Raider-themed flashlight.
The season pass will include "a new adventure every month" following the game's launch. This includes 7 challenge tombs, 7 new weapons, 7 new outfits, and 7 new skills for Lara.
Shadow of the Tomb Raider launches on Xbox One, PS4, and PC September 14th.
