Sly Cooper Merchandise Expands Across PlayStation Collectibles
From sold-out Funko Pops to a wave of new figures on the way, the raccoon thief might be PlayStation's most requested collectible right now.

If you've been keeping an eye on PlayStation collectibles lately, you've probably noticed something strange happening with Sly Cooper merchandise. It's not just showing up occasionally anymore; it's becoming one of the most consistent product lines PlayStation has put its name behind, and once you start counting the pieces, the pattern is hard to ignore.
You already know Youtooz and PlayStation have been working closely together for a while now. There's an entire PlayStation section on the Youtooz site, and when you scroll through it, you start noticing which franchises keep popping up.

Astro gets a ton of attention, which makes sense given how well Astro Bot performed and how often the character gets referenced across other PlayStation titles. There's also a full Funko line built around Astro, featuring stand-ins from Kratos, Aloy, and the Ratchet & Clank series. It leans a little more toward a younger audience, but the reach is wide.
What's interesting is that Sly Cooper merchandise doesn't follow that same pattern, yet it's still showing up at a similar frequency.
A newly revealed collectible design gives you a good idea of just how much is coming. The piece recreates the classic "come in, do you read me" call screen from the games, with Bentley positioned in one corner and Sly in another. But if you look closer, there's more going on in the background. Sly appears again, tucked inside a bucket, which longtime fans will instantly recognize.
Above him, you can spot what looks like Murray wearing a cape. Neither of them is part of the main call screen setup, but they're clearly part of the bigger picture PlayStation is building. That detail matters, because it strongly hints that this isn't a one-off release. Between the characters already shown and the ones hinted at in the background, you're likely looking at four or five separate figures tied to this single design.
There's also the Thievius Raccoonus included in the reveal, and it's fair to wonder whether that's simply there for branding purposes or if it's actually going to be sold as a standalone item. Either way, once you add everything up, Sly Cooper merchandise is on track to become one of the biggest single releases Youtooz has done for any PlayStation property.
The only line that comes close in terms of sheer volume is the Astro Funko set, and even that doesn't quite match five pieces launching around the same time. This isn't unfamiliar territory either. Sly Cooper merchandise has had big moments before, including a set of three plushies that sold well and an Astro-themed Sly figure that also made its way to fans.
Individually, these pieces tend to run around $30 each, so a full set adds up fast, but that hasn't stopped people from buying every single wave that gets released.
Looking through PlayStation's current collectible catalog gives you an even clearer picture. Helldivers is heavily represented, with multiple figures across different releases. The Last of Us shows up several times too, along with Ratchet & Clank, Jak and Daxter, Horizon, Ghost of Yōtei, and Sackboy.

Sly Cooper merchandise fits right into that same tier, sitting comfortably among the top three or four most represented franchises in the entire lineup. Once those additional four or five pieces officially drop, Sly could realistically move into the number one spot for total figures released under this partnership.
Sales history backs this up too. A lot of Sly-related collectibles have sold out completely, including the original Funko Pop, which now resells for anywhere between $70 and $80. That kind of demand doesn't happen by accident, and it lines up with something bigger going on behind the scenes. You don't just get merchandise this consistently without a reason.
PlayStation rarely revives entire classic trilogies for its backward-compatibility catalog, but Sly Cooper is one of the few franchises that got that treatment. The first game arrived, followed shortly after by the second and third titles, both released close together instead of spaced out over years like most catalog additions. That kind of turnaround wasn't random.
It felt intentional, almost like PlayStation wanted to test how much demand was still out there for the series, and the response proved it.
All three games ended up ranking among the highest-rated and most downloaded titles in that classics catalog, outperforming other revived franchises by a wide margin. That success seems to be exactly why Sly Cooper merchandise keeps getting greenlit.
Every time a new piece releases, it tends to sell out or come close to it, which naturally encourages more figures, more collaborations, and more reasons for PlayStation to keep the franchise in rotation. Compared to franchises like Helldivers or The Last of Us, which are already well represented, Sly still appears to be catching up in numbers, and yet it might overtake both of them once these newer figures officially launch.
There's still plenty of room left for this line to grow too. Characters like Bentley and Murray still don't have Funko Pop figures of their own, despite being major parts of the series. Carmelita hasn't received any dedicated merchandise either, which feels like an obvious gap considering how recognizable she is within the games.

Dimitri, the longtime frenemy-turned-ally throughout the series, would also make sense as a future addition given how much screen time he's had across multiple entries. Based on everything currently available and everything hinted at through this new reveal, Sly Cooper merchandise looks like it's positioned to keep expanding for the foreseeable future.
The demand is there, the sales history supports it, and PlayStation clearly isn't done leaning into the franchise yet. Until interest actually slows down, which so far hasn't happened, it seems safe to expect more Sly Cooper merchandise heading your way sometime soon.
