The First Descendant Gets A Story Trailer Ahead of Steam Beta

NEXON unveiled the cinematic story trailer for The First Descendant, an original IP developed by NEXON GAMES. Players of the forthcoming sci-fi co-op shooter will be pleased to learn that the teaser reveals a new backstory and background information. The dramatic sequences will also be included in the upcoming Steam beta, beginning on Thursday, October 20th, 2022, at 00:00 PDT and continuing through Wednesday, October 26th, 2022, at 23:59 PDT.

 

In the trailer, we learned how over a century ago, Earth was decimated by an alien invasion led by the Vulgus and followed by the Colossi. But some have discovered a glimmer of optimism about the future. Descendants, empowered by their long-lost ancestors' return to life, fought back against the invaders and ultimately won. Humans made it through, but a new danger soon appeared. Karel, the new villainous commander of the Vulgus, is in charge of the globe to permanent obscurity. It's up to the Descendant to fight back again and save mankind from collapsing.

There will be ten playable characters, each with their own skills and powers, as well as quests, weaponry, grappling hooks, and enormous monster, encounters in the next beta. Players interested in participating in the Steam beta are encouraged to sign up in advance since there will be a limited number of registration slots available once the event begins.

Nexon Games created the unique IP The First Descendant, a Sci-Fi fantasy universe that promises to be both compelling and engrossing. The multiplayer looter shooter is in development for the PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
