Developer Endnight Games have announced that they will be launching The Forest on PlayStation 4 this November 6th.
The survival game has the protagonist searching for his lost son after a plane crash. Now stranded, you must locate food, water, and raw materials to craft defenses against the hostile natives of the island.
The island itself has some dangerous people but inside caves, where much of the story progression takes place, house the most dangerous creatures on the island.
