The Walking Dead: The Final Season Get a Brief but Solid Official Trailer

Since the debut of The Walking Dead back in 2012 players have been smitten by Clementine. An icon for female protagonist Clementine has endured, survived, and braved impossible odds, but it's all coming to an end. With the final season coming next week Telltale Games have provided the official trailer for the season.

The trailer shows glimpses of what Clementine will have to face in the upcoming season. A new settlement, people, and a hidden secret she's not aware of. In addition, this season will introduce "new visuals, mechanics, and characters to the series." The demo provided a snippet of what players can expect with a much more robust combat system and fluid animations.

Clementine, now a fierce and capable survivor, has reached the final chapter in her journey. After years on the road facing threats both living and dead, a secluded school might finally be her chance for a home. But protecting it will mean sacrifice. Clem must build a life and become a leader while still watching over AJ, an orphaned boy and the closest thing to family she has left. In this gripping, emotional final season, you will define your relationships, fight the undead, and determine how Clementine's story ends.

The Walking Dead: The Final Season will debut its first episode on PS4, Xbox One, and PC on August 14th.

All players who pre-order The Final Season will receive download access to each of the season's four episodes as they become available. Players who pre-order on PS4 and Xbox One will also immediately receive The Walking Dead: The Telltale Series Collection -- which gathers all 19 existing episodes of the award-winning series into a single package -- as a free pre-order bonus.
