Tom Clancy's The Division Delayed Until 2016
The Division delayed until next fiscal quarter
News by Grayshadow on May 12, 2015
Ubisoft’s The Division has been delayed until 2016. Ubisoft officially announced that the open-world third-person shooter RPG won’t arrive until the next fiscal quarter, between March and June 2016.
The reason for the delay is for the game’s developers wanting more time to deliver a polished experience that meets the player’s expectation.
“We have decided to release the game on Xbox One, PS4 and PC during the first quarter of the calendar year 2016.
All of us at Massive, Reflections, Red Storm Entertainment and Ubisoft Annecy want to ensure the game not only meets our high expectations but also those of our fans and players alike. We are proud of what we have achieved so far and can’t wait to show you more next month at E3!”
While this delay is disappointing it’s reliving knowing Ubisoft won’t release The Division until they are fully satisfied with the content they’ve created.
