Ubisoft Changing Assassin's Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade Shadow Heritage Following Backlash

Assassin's Creed Odyssey Legacy of the First Blade Episode 2: Shadow Heritage released recently, our review here, and fans were not happy with the DLC's ending. For those unaware, the DLC ended with Alexios/Kassandra having a child with Darius kin and fans were not happy. Many were vexed that the game took away choice from the player and forced them into a heterosexual marriage and Ubisoft is making changes to change this.

In an official forums post, Ubisoft confirmed that they will be “making changes to a cutscene and some dialogue in Shadow Heritage to better reflect the nature of the relationship for players selecting a non-romantic storyline,”.

Hopefully, this will appease fans who were annoyed about the final decision. After all, Assassin's Creed Odyssey is about choice and now the player will regain control of their destiny now.
