Upcoming Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms RPG Lets You Be A Soul-Devouring Demon

There’s a new roleplaying game (RPG) coming to PC by the name of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms. Publisher bitComposer, known for housing titles like Expeditions: Conquistador or the Jagged Alliance series, has announced the project with a soul-devouring demon as its pivotal role. It will release sometime this year.

You’ll play with this demon, which can alternate between the human world and a shadow realm, like a veritable Link to the Past. With a unique party system at play, you’ll also be able to switch between three other members, which each have their own skills.

Alternate designs in the game include a day and night cycle, puzzle solving elements and a choice mechanism that shapes the fate of the realm. There’s an ominous trailer to go with the announcement of Shadows: Heretic Kingdoms.

As the name suggests, this project is linked to Kult: Heretic Kingdoms, which came out almost ten years ago now.
