Watch Dogs Legion already discounted

Watch Dogs Legion has had a troublesome launch, with the developers attempting to stabilize the game with patches. Now the game has been discounted.
With Black Friday almost here it's not unheard of for recent releases to get discounted. Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War can be found at a discounted price, usually by $10, despite releasing days ago. However, Watch Dogs Legion received a 50% discount which is huge for a new release. Assassin's Creed Valhalla, another recent Ubisoft title, has been positively received and sales are strong for the title but it seems Watch Dogs Legion simply isn't keeping up.
One can make the argument that Assassin's Creed is more significant, after all, it's Ubisoft's biggest franchise and will easily outperform any Watch Dogs game. However, Watch Dogs is a major franchise but the recent installment has not been received well. Not just the technical issues were criticized. Many, including myself, felt the title lack the charm and diverse content available in Watch Dogs 2. The game simply didn't create that profound bond players had with San Francisco's DedSec compared to the random NPCs of London.
For now, we'll have to wait and see how Watch Dogs Legion performs. The multiplayer is still set for a later release but with major competitors now available along with Cyberpunk 2077 on the horizon Watch Dogs Legion has to make some serious compelling reasons to return to London.
