Finding the Chromatic Petank

Go to the lake marked on your expedition plan to find the Chromatic Petank. You must push the animal along the shore to help it get through the shallow water when you get there. Keep moving steadily toward the clearing ahead until you reach the designated battleground.

Pathing

As you lead the Petank, please pay close attention to its movement and the surrounding terrain. If you try to guide the creature past a magnetic field, it will slow down as a warning. Maintain forward momentum with the Petank until you reach an open region beyond the lake. The right pathing route to the last arena begins here.

Preparing for the Fight

Before initiating combat, equip items that can strip shields from enemies and select abilities that damage multiple targets. You will face two types of small tentacle spawns during the battle, so bring gear that enhances your counterattacks. 

These enhancements are especially valuable when the Chromatic Petank readies its devastating Speed Ball attack—you will rely on precise parrying to defend against and retaliate with powerful counterstrikes.

Battle Strategy

Once the battle begins, focus on the central tentacle. Watch for its planned explosive moves, and time your block to hit when it goes off. If you successfully block the attack, it will not do any damage and will launch a powerful counterattack that severely hurts the boss's health. 

While smaller tentacles will appear and may either explode or heal the boss, it is generally more efficient to continue targeting the main Petank and rely on your parry timing. If you choose to eliminate the ads, ensure you can remove their shields before striking.

Remember that you have only three turns to defeat the Chromatic Petank before the small tentacles flee and restore the boss's health. Keep a close eye on the turn counter. 

If a tentacle runs away, the battle log will show you how many turns are left until it returns. If these moves are not managed well, the boss may heal up when you least expect it. 

Understanding Petank Terminology

In combat logs, "Chromatic Petank" always refers to the boss, whereas "Petank" denotes the smaller tentacle adds. Do not mix up these names. An entry that says "Petank leaves in two turns" refers to a small ad, while any mention of "Chromatic Petank" means actions or effects concerning the main enemy.
