Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 Guide | Jar NPC Item Location

Very soon after starting the game, you’re going to run into this particular NPC, and the NPC is going to require an item. This guide will walk you through the steps.

Following the Main Path

This NPC can’t be missed as you’re traveling along the main path. Follow that path until the area opens up.

Collecting Picto

First, go to the right to pick up the picto. 

Then, get back to the main path and pick up another picto.

Continue down the path until you run into an enemy. After taking out the enemy, take the path down. Take care of another enemy and then go straight underneath the small bridge to find another picto

Continue down the path, and you’ll see a glowing item next to some crates. That’s the item you need, and you have to get it back to the NPC to finish the quest.

Returning to the NPC and Optional Interaction

When you return to the NPC, you can attack him after giving him the item. That’s an option available with almost every NPC you find throughout the world. Attacking NPCs could bring some consequences later on, but it’s unclear what those might be. Thankfully, you can revisit this NPC—or any other—in the future if you decide you want to attack them.
