Control Guide | How To Unlock All Jesse Faden Outfits

This guide shows you all seven outfits available in Control. A few outfits are given to you as you make progress through the campaign, but others involve multiple steps—especially the Golden Suit. You will learn how to acquire each outfit and the specific steps required for those with extra processes.

Civilian Suit

You begin the game equipped with the Civilian Suit, which is the default outfit for Jesse. There are no additional requirements to unlock it, as it is automatically provided at the very start of your journey.

Candidate P7

You unlock the Candidate P7 outfit automatically around Mission Six when you reach the Prime Candidate Program Sector in the Containment Area. Progress through the story until you receive clearance to this sector, and the outfit will appear in your wardrobe.

Office Assistant

The Office Assistant outfit becomes available as you complete duties in the Oldest House. After you finish the assigned office tasks, you will find this outfit ready for you. There is no achievement tied to it, but you can equip it as soon as you complete those missions.

Director Suit

After beating the game, you will receive the Director Suit automatically. This outfit features Jesse's hair tied up in a neat updo and is granted to you for completing the primary campaign.

Asynchronous Suit

To obtain the Asynchronous Suit, you must first reach Clearance Level Six. Then, travel to the Research Sector and locate the Synchronicity Lab. Enter the room with a mirror to trigger the "Self-Reflection" mission. Upon completing that mission, return to the Synchronicity Lab and look for a mannequin in the first room on the left. You can then acquire the Asynchronous Suit directly from that mannequin.

Janitor's Assistant

The Janitor's Assistant outfit requires you to start a side mission called "What a Mess." Head to the Maintenance Sector and use the fast travel point near Ventilation to reach the Janitor's Office. Interact with the corkboard to begin the mission, then complete all five tasks listed. After finishing those tasks, interact with the nearby sofa to take a short nap. When you wake up, the Janitor's Assistant outfit will be available for you to equip.

Golden Suit

The Golden Suit is located in the Research Sector, specifically in the room labeled "Luck and Probability," which requires a Clearance Level Five clearance. To unlock it, bring the giant golden fish into the room and plant a four-leaf clover next to the roulette table. 

Then exit and prepare five objects throughout the room in specific states: ensure that a nearby plant does not have a four-leaf clover, position the cat so its paw is moving, activate the Newton's Cradle from left to right, orient a horseshoe with its opening facing up, and leave the elephant's cradle stationary. 

Return to the roulette table, turn on all lamps in the room, and spin the wheel until the monitor displays the number seven. Once the monitor shows seven, you will unlock the Golden Suit and can equip it at any Control Point.

Expedition Gear

The new location provides them with a specific amount of time to accomplish a number of goals that they have set for themselves. There is a distinct tier for each voyage, ranging from one to three, and the amount of tokens required to activate each tier is different for each excursion. Simple completion of the third-tier excursion is all that is needed to unlock this Control excursion Outfit.

Jesse's Cat Ears

The Foundation DLC's Collapsed Department region features a solitary Maneki-Neko statue randomly placed on one of the bridges on the far left. This is the first hint that these cat statues have a secret. Discover the 8 Maneki-Neko statues in the new area to obtain a cat ears headband for Jesse. 

This unlocks the secret award "One of Us." Although this piece is cosmetic, Jesse looks great with cat ears. Here is a guide to make things 100% easier before you visit every corner. There is no set order in which to gather the cats' sculptures; you may find them simply exploring and playing with the DLC.

Extradimensional Suit

To get this suit, players need to find the two arcade games in the Active Investigations area. This is where players meet Hartford in the main story, and this is where these different game styles begin. Do everything that's on the Shum 1 and 2 cabinets. 

In Active Investigations, you can find these arcade machines in the room with the elevators. You can get the suit by completing a Deadline or Crowd Control game on the Challenging level. However, the suit is often flawed and requires more than that.
