You must travel a reasonable distance from your home base to complete the Fifth AQL trial. Make sure your Sandbike is durable and has enough Fuel for this trip.
Reaching the Altar
To start the Trial in Dune: Awakening, you must head to Haga Rift on your map. Look for a great Big Stone with a Purple Eye painted on it.
You then have to jump down the cavern. Bring a Suspension Belt to avoid fall damage. Although it's not necessary, you can also climb your way down.
Once inside, you can loot the Treasure Boxes or head straight to the Altar and interact with it.
The Challenges
The usual dialogues will be like the previous Trials in Dune: Awakening. The first challenge you will have is an area filled with Quicksand. Don't stay in the Quicksand for too long, as you will drown if you do.
Make sure to run towards the rocks instead of walking. You can also spam the jump button and move towards the rocks. This level is not difficult if you just keep moving fast.
The second half is like the first one in Dune: Awakening, but you must avoid the sands this time. If you step into the sand, you'll get eaten by the Sandworm and sent to the previous Checkpoint.
This section is a parkour challenge. You must walk up, jump over the top, and proceed along the little platforms to reach the other end.
You can also cheese your way through to avoid parkour by using the stones on the corners to reach the other end.
If your jump fails, you can always climb back up the wall to get to the top.
When you reach the top, you must climb a vertical pillar. At the top, jump onto the platform where you need to call the Sandworm. This part is just a tutorial that shows you how the Thumper works. There will be a Spice Harvester in front of you.
You'll just need to place the Thumper near the Spice Harvester and leave the place immediately using the stairs that will spawn. Don't wait there for too long.
Completion and Rewards
After climbing the stairs, the Sandworm will spawn and eat the Harvester. You need to walk forward and reach the Altar, and a cutscene will start, indicating that the Trial is over.
After finishing the Trial, you can craft the Thumper, provided you have the required resources in Dune: Awakening.
