Building your dream base in Dune: Awakening becomes even more exciting when you can customize it with faction-specific building sets and color schemes.

This guide will show you how to unlock base-building sets from both House Atreides and House Harkonnen, along with color swatches and variants for your vehicles, armor, and equipment.

These faction-building sets cost 80,000 Solaris each and can only be purchased from their respective faction vendors, making them a significant investment for any aspiring lord of Arrakis.

Getting Atreides Building Sets and Items

For Atreides items, you're going to go all the way to Arrakeen at the top right-hand side of your map. In Arrakeen, quite simply, you're going to just run straight all the way across until you get to the far left-hand side over here at the Atreides vendor. This is the location you need to go to.

Eventually, you'll make your way to the vendor that's located right over here. You'll find it with the orange dollar sign thing. Speak with the NPC and ask them what they're selling. You'll see here that you're not going to buy only these Cockpit parts.

If you scroll down, you actually get to like the Buggy variant, the Stillsuit armor variants, and melee swatches for different weapons. You'll also be able to buy Furniture sets for more decoration, Ornithopter variants, and as you scroll down, you'll notice the Atreides Stronghold Buildable Set.

This is going to cost you 80,000 Solaris, which is quite expensive, especially if you're early on in the game, so this is something you're probably going to pick up as you're playing a bit more. That's where you're going to find all the Atreides stuff.

Getting Harkonnen Building Sets and Items

If you want Harkonnen items, you'll have to go to Harko Village on the world map instead. In Harko Village, the vendor is actually really close by; it's right over here, right near the entrance. You're going to just go through the security kind of scanning thing, and then immediately on your left, there's this NPC you can speak to.

The Harkonnen vendor offers similar items to the Atreides vendor, including the Harkonnen Stronghold Buildable Set with that solid black metal look. Just like the Atreides set, this will also cost you 80,000 Solaris.

Important Faction Restrictions

You should note that if you are with House Atreides, you will not be able to speak to the Harkonnen representative and vice versa.

So if you're Harkonnen, you won't be able to buy the House Atreides stuff, and if you're Atreides, you're not going to be able to buy the Harkonnen stuff, which I guess is only fair. Although it's somewhat sad because it would have been nice to have both.

What You Can Purchase

Both faction vendors offer a wide variety of customization options beyond just building sets. You can purchase Cockpit parts, vehicle variants like Buggy modifications,

Stillsuit armor variants, melee weapon swatches for different weapons, Furniture sets for base decoration, and Ornithopter variants. The Ornithopter variants are particularly impressive, offering unique designs that reflect each faction's aesthetic style.
