Here’s a simple guide on how to build a new ship in Everwind

At the start of Everwind, you begin with a simple airship setup that grows over time. This airship becomes your main way to travel, explore, and carry your items. You do not replace it later with a new one. Instead, you keep building on it and improving it as you move forward. Every upgrade you make helps you reach new areas and gather better resources.

Understanding the Ship Core

You receive a Ship Core at the beginning along with a small wooden platform. This Ship Core acts as the center of your entire airship. Every part you place connects to it, and all upgrades come from it.

You do not need to search for better ships in the world. Your progress depends on how you improve this one. As you explore more and gather materials, your ship slowly becomes stronger and more useful.

The Ship Core also controls how far you can upgrade your ship. It sets the limits for speed, size, and height, but you must support those upgrades with the right parts.

Airship Setup and Performance

Your airship’s performance depends on how many parts you add and how you arrange them. The main parts you use are Balloons, Engines, and Energy Cores.

Balloons help your ship go up. The more you have, the higher you can travel. Engines control how fast your ship moves. Adding more engines increases speed.

Energy Cores provide power to run everything. Without enough power, your ship will not work properly.

For example, if your ship has three Balloons, four Engines, and two Energy Cores, it can move faster and reach higher areas. With this setup, you can travel around 10 squares per second and go up to about 750 blocks high.

As you move higher, the game becomes harder. Enemies are stronger and areas are more dangerous. At the same time, you find better materials and better loot. This means going higher earlier can help you progress faster if you are prepared.

Ship Core Upgrade Options

When you interact with the Ship Core, you see three main upgrade options. These are Speed Upgrade, Size Upgrade, and Altitude Upgrade.

The Speed Upgrade increases how fast your ship moves across the map. This helps you travel between islands more quickly.

The Size Upgrade increases how much space you have on your ship. This allows you to place more crafting stations, storage, and other parts.

The Altitude Upgrade increases how high your ship can go. This is important for reaching new islands and dungeons.

Each time you upgrade one of these, the cost increases. This means you need more resources as you continue upgrading.

Upgrade Requirements and Limits

Upgrading your Ship Core is not enough on its own. You also need the correct parts on your ship to match the upgrade.

For example, if you increase your altitude, your ship still cannot go higher unless you add more Balloons. The same applies to speed. If you upgrade speed but do not add more Engines, your ship will not move faster.

You also need enough Energy Cores to power everything. If your ship does not have enough power, some parts may not work.

This means upgrades and ship parts must work together. You unlock the ability through the Ship Core, then build the parts to make it happen.

Expanding Your Airship Step by Step

As you progress, you continue adding more parts to your ship. If you want to go beyond 750 blocks, you need to place more Balloons. If your ship becomes larger, you may need more Energy Cores to keep everything running.

You also add more Engines if you want faster movement. This helps when traveling long distances between islands.

Your ship slowly changes from a small platform into a full base. You add storage, crafting stations, and other useful items while still keeping space for ship parts.

You decide how to build it based on your needs. Some setups focus on speed, while others focus on height or space.

Crafting Ship Components

You create all ship parts at a crafting station. You can craft Balloons, Engines, and Energy Cores using materials you collect while exploring.

You gather resources by breaking objects, looting containers, and searching islands. These materials are not hard to find if you explore regularly.

Once you have enough, you return to your crafting station and build the parts you need. After that, you place them on your ship and connect them properly.

You repeat this process as you progress. Explore, collect, craft, and upgrade.

Balancing Exploration and Upgrades

You do not upgrade everything at once. Instead, you balance between exploring new areas and improving your ship.

If you try to go too high without enough parts, your ship will not handle it. If you focus only on upgrades without exploring, you may not have enough materials.

So you move back and forth between both. You explore to gather resources, then return to upgrade your ship, and then explore again.

This cycle helps you move forward in Everwind and reach new areas step by step.
