Since it was released eleven years ago (2009), League of Legends has become one of the favorite multiplayer videogames of all time. The secret behind its huge success is the freemium model they offer users that is supported by microtransactions inside the game. You can either play with a team of other players or compete against computer-controlled champions.

Either way, the main goal is to destroy the other team’s nexus. Players are organized into two teams that have three or five members. Each player controls a single champion; each one of them has unique characteristics or attributes that describe their play style. If you want to choose a specific champion, your options will be limited according to what you have unlocked by playing.
