In Frostpunk 2, the various Hubs are a very important part of the game. They are invaluable in aiding with the management of resources. They vary in what they do, and there are no useless Hubs. Almost all the hubs mainly stockpile resources, with a minor secondary benefit, and take up one space tile while providing effects in a two-tile radius.
Communication Hub: The hub increases the trust in nearby districts. This hub is mostly a supplementary building, as you will have far more efficient ways of raising trust.
Fighting Hub: Similar to the communication hub, the fighting hub keeps tension down and is a niche way of handling tension.
Surveillance Hub: This hub reduces crime in nearby districts.
Emergency Medical Hub: Another hub that specifically deals with disease reduction.
Food Stockpile Hub: Stockpile Hubs add to your stockpile of a specific resource, enabling you to have more of a certain resource. They increase the stockpile by 50,000, and this one covers food.
Fuel Stockpile Hub: A stockpile hub that increases fuel stockpile by 50,000
Material Stockpile Hub: This stockpile hub can store 50,000 materials
Goods Stockpile Hub: One of the many stockpile hubs, this one covers Goods.
Air Transport Hub: This Hub reduces the workforce requirements in nearby districts but takes a while to unlock.
Maintenance Hub: Reduces the materials required by districts.
Rail Hub: A hub that generally increases efficiency.
Heating Hub: This is a very valuable hub. It reduces the heating demand by a small margin, which is almost essential during whiteouts.
