Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 and 2 have been remastered, allowing you to rediscover the game's dark gothic locations, epic boss fights, and hard puzzles. In addition to these existing components, Legacy of Kain Soul Reaver 1 & 2 Remastered introduces a slew of new features.

You will encounter a two-part puzzle that will hinder their progress through Necropolis. To return to a previous stretch, you must first clear the path to the road ahead in both directions, which needs you to think in terms of massive stone blocks. You must also pass through a big gate in both sections.

As you go through the game, they will have access to a map labeled with each destination. They will find a section of Necropolis that demonstrates how altering the Spectral Realm can reveal hidden passageways. It appears that you cannot climb on the Material Plane and must move in order to start a cutscene.

When the player changes, they will face their first wraith enemy. These undead vampires' twisted souls have been trapped in the Spectral Realm for far too long. Control the ghost and its soul in a furious battle reminiscent of the PS1's thrilling hack-and-slash adventures.

You may be wondering what to do next, but don't worry—the walls have shifted, offering new areas to explore and climb. The area is adjacent to the graves of Melchiah's deceased children. Continue along this trail until you reach a ledge on the left side of the cliff that is suitable for gliding.

You can pull a block from the far left of this ledge. The block-flipping instructions are right here. Shift the block to the right, then lift it a notch. After jumping over the block, drag it until it fits snugly against the wall before jumping back and pushing it. You can use this as a key to open the upper gate.

Continue through the gate, and on the other side, you will discover another large gate with some foes hidden behind. After being speared, one will stand out from the crowd, even if most will be buried beneath the ground. Retrieve the spear from the deceased adversary to revive it, then use it to stab all adversaries to death, stealing their souls in the process.

When you do this, the wraith will travel to the spectral realm as well. Go to the right of the main gate; there is another block you can remove from the wall. Drop this stone into the abyss and lead it to the flight of steps opposite the big gate.

After you've impaled any opponents that emerge from the ground with your spear, you can proceed to push the block forward.

Using the stairwell, elevate the block and place it in the block-shaped slot situated to the right of the gate, beneath the one you entered through. This will allow you to return to the beginning of your trip. Both small gates are now open to you.

Return to the top gate and look for a beam that can be reached with a high leap. A scale is shown on both sides of the room. You will feel weightless in the Spectral Realm, and these scales will remain immobile no matter how many leaps you make on top of them. On the other hand, the Material Plane is an exception to the rule. To raise one side and lower the other, step onto either side of this scale on the Material Plane.

How to Solve the Final Room of Solve Necropolis Gate Puzzle

Enter the Spectral Realm, return to the upper gate, and then fly to the scale side, which has risen dramatically. This allows you to reach the ledge on the other side of the room. Step into a separate room to find the block puzzle. Collect souls to recharge your energy and return to the Material Plane.

On either side of the room, there is a block-sized indent, and in the center is a gorgeous gate. Despite the fact that the symbols on both indented blocks should line up, only one of them is in the proper alignment. On either side of the enormous gate is a ledge from which you may easily move the blocks and pull the top one off the ground.

Even if the blocks have been moved from their original location, you can still align them appropriately using these processes:

  • First, separate the top block from the bottom one.
  • Make sure the top block's symbols are facing up by rotating it.
  • Redirect the upper block's symbol from its assigned space by rotating it.
  • Keep rotating the symbol by pulling and flipping the block until it lines up with the bottom block.

Here is the proper way to position it if you haven't attempted to do so yet:

  • Move the upper block northward, away from the lower block.
  • Invert the topmost block facing southward.
  • Toss the top brick westward.
  • Turn the top north-facing block over.
  • The two blocks are now compatible and can be placed side by side.
